Speaker:Welcome, catscan.
Speaker:It's a pleasure to have you here.
Speaker:Thank you for joining.
Speaker:Pleasure to be here.
Speaker:Thanks for the invitation.
Speaker:Just before we started recording,
Speaker:you were saying you've just come off a mushroom ceremony last
Speaker:night, so you haven't had much sleep.
Speaker:And like, first of all, thank you for still being up for this
Speaker:conversation and like, what's alive for you right now after that
Speaker:experience? Beautiful question yeah so I guess
Speaker:what's alive for me is in the last like year or so, I've been working
Speaker:a lot in plant medicine spaces, but I've been in service like
Speaker:working in ceremonies, holding space, in ceremonies.
Speaker:And so last night was a small gathering with just like really
Speaker:close soul family, friends, brothers and sisters.
Speaker:And it was a great opportunity for me just to receive, you know, just
Speaker:to like let go and express and not worry about holding space because
Speaker:everybody that was there was in their own right.
Speaker:They're already deep in the past.
Speaker:So it was just a beautiful.
Speaker:Learning from me around the difference in holding space and
Speaker:the difference in receiving, you know, and last night was a
Speaker:beautiful night of receiving, you know, just stepping into my power
Speaker:and letting the medicine work through me.
Speaker:So I guess at the moment with the Lions gate last night and there's
Speaker:like a portal opening.
Speaker:So last night was all about
Speaker:manifestation and abundance and manifesting our dreams into
Speaker:reality and vocalising our dreams and working with the spirits and
Speaker:seeking approval from the spirits to kind of give us the
Speaker:encouragement and the support that we need to.
Speaker:Used to create our visions into reality.
Speaker:It blows me away still.
Speaker:I mean, I don't know why I'm still
Speaker:surprised, but how? The message that's been coming to
Speaker:me a lot recently is that we have all these guides and these spirits
Speaker:and these friends who want to help.
Speaker:But the rule is that they can't help until we ask for help.
Speaker:And this is this message has come to me about three times in the
Speaker:last month or two and so I'm practising asking for help a
Speaker:little more. And so this morning I was in my
Speaker:practice and was just asking for some support on many levels
Speaker:around. Like one of my dear friends, my
Speaker:dog Sasser passed six months ago.
Speaker:She disappeared.
Speaker:And it's been this process of like grieving and the not knowing.
Speaker:Thank you.
Speaker:It's and the big part of it is the
Speaker:not knowing is like, what where did she go?
Speaker:What happened? Where is she?
Speaker:What the fuck? And and this morning i was just
Speaker:asking for some support just like, hey, like, please just send me
Speaker:some guidance, some support in that area.
Speaker:And while I was in my session I thought of my friend Deborah,
Speaker:whose mum just passed away.
Speaker:Just over a week ago not even and
Speaker:I was thinking I really want to call her and just check in and see
Speaker:like how Debra's doing after that experience and I turn on my phone
Speaker:off to my practice and there was a message from Deborah saying, I
Speaker:don't know why, but I really needed to send you this is the
Speaker:mantra that my mother fell in love with as she was fate, as she was
Speaker:heading towards her death.
Speaker:This was the mantra that had
Speaker:supported her in her passing.
Speaker:It's a 40 minute long mantra, but
Speaker:I just felt like I needed to send it to you.
Speaker:I mean, it's just so beautiful.
Speaker:Ask and you shall receive, right?
Speaker:Yeah, we have to pay attention to the signs as well.
Speaker:You know, I feel like when we're on this path of self healing and
Speaker:spirituality and there signs all around us in nature, the universe
Speaker:has always speaking to us.
Speaker:And it's just about tuning into
Speaker:that frequency to being open to receiving and paying attention to
Speaker:the signs and really sitting with them and feeling into our heart.
Speaker:So the fact that you received that gift is probably a sign of how
Speaker:open you are to receiving.
Speaker:Well, thank you.
Speaker:I mean, it's, yeah, it's beautiful to feel like I'm supported.
Speaker:I think that's part of my shadow is this feeling of aloneness.
Speaker:And i don't think I'm alone in that shadow, but which is funny,
Speaker:but I do.
Speaker:It's I can only speak for myself
Speaker:that there's the sense of like, I'm alone and I've been left alone
Speaker:and I'm abandoned and like, that's the shadowy voice.
Speaker:And so it's amazing to receive those messages even now, like to
Speaker:connect with you.
Speaker:A year ago, I was in Lionsgate.
Speaker:In a mushroom journey with my dog, Sasser at my side, she lay just
Speaker:relaxed at my side the entire night.
Speaker:And like I said, before I got in that journey, I didn't know it was
Speaker:Lion's Gate and I got a vision of a of a beautiful flower of life
Speaker:with a lion's face imprinted in it.
Speaker:And only afterwards, speaking with my beloved Carly, who was sitting
Speaker:for me, I was like, wow, this is, I don't usually see such distinct
Speaker:visions like that.
Speaker:It was very specific.
Speaker:And she said, you know, it's lions gate tonight.
Speaker:So here we are.
Speaker:A year later and you've just sat
Speaker:with the sacred mushrooms on Landsgate.
Speaker:I mean, it's beautiful.
Speaker:And I have a flower of life tattoo
Speaker:in my back as well amazing so what?
Speaker:What is the.
Speaker:I mean, you mentioned as well that
Speaker:the flower of life is a special one for you.
Speaker:I'd love to hear a little more about that.
Speaker:Yeah, I just think.
Speaker:For since 2012 which is around the
Speaker:time and i started my first conscious business if you like,
Speaker:and I became aware of sacred geometry.
Speaker:This is long before I encountered ayahuasca or mushrooms, or any
Speaker:kind of psychedelic.
Speaker:I just deeply resonated with
Speaker:sacred geometry for whatever reason, and the time I was getting
Speaker:different tattoos made and I chose to get all these different sacred
Speaker:geometric symbols on my body, and it wasn't until like seven or
Speaker:eight years later when I did my first iowaska germany but I really
Speaker:understood the sacredness and the relevance of these symbols.
Speaker:And I was looking at my body and I was like, wow, it's as if my
Speaker:higher self has been guiding me this whole time, you know, and I
Speaker:actually even imprinted these symbols on my body, you know,
Speaker:which is a really sacred act in itself.
Speaker:And these symbols ever since have just been really guiding me.
Speaker:I look at these symbols, metatron's cube, the flower of
Speaker:life, the seed of life.
Speaker:All these different shapes are
Speaker:ancient and probably like, you know, are universal symbols.
Speaker:And when we look at these amazing you study these symbols and we
Speaker:work with these symbols.
Speaker:There's a real deep knowledge and
Speaker:infinite information in these symbols, you know, and we just
Speaker:have to pay attention to them and really understand them.
Speaker:And I like to draw them, I like to write them, I like to listen to
Speaker:music and just observe them.
Speaker:And I always have some moves
Speaker:around my house and I feel like these symbols are like portals or
Speaker:gateways to other dimensions, if you want to call it that.
Speaker:And it's just a real education working with these sacred symbols
Speaker:and just observing them and being with them and trying to understand
Speaker:them and honour.
Speaker:Them and their sacred geometry is
Speaker:very dear to my heart and it's they call it the math of God.
Speaker:You know, that the Fibonacci spiral and the golden ratio and
Speaker:all these things.
Speaker:And the more we studied nature,
Speaker:the more we studied the universe and the more we study our inner
Speaker:verse psychedelics, the more these symbols become more and more
Speaker:prevalent. So it's just like I have a deep
Speaker:interest and the sacred science of spirituality and I think sacred
Speaker:geometry is a big part of that.
Speaker:Well, okay, so I have two
Speaker:questions, but I'm going to ask the first is so clearly you are on
Speaker:a deep spiritual path.
Speaker:You have been for quite a long
Speaker:time and I'm this podcast for me.
Speaker:We are already free is just a
Speaker:support and an invitation and a reminder to all those who are
Speaker:currently waking up in this time and often feeling quite
Speaker:overwhelmed and confused and isolated.
Speaker:And so just to offer support to those who might be really at the
Speaker:beginning of that journey where they've maybe tried their best to
Speaker:fit within the constructs of the society that we were born into and
Speaker:are now realising that is crumbling, that that's.
Speaker:They can't do that anymore and I'm wondering if you might share a
Speaker:little bit of how that happened for you when you needed to start
Speaker:stepping into something different, something expanded and what that
Speaker:looked like and what you would advise for others who are maybe
Speaker:just entering that journey.
Speaker:Thank you yeah so this path relief
Speaker:found me.
Speaker:You know, I created a conscious
Speaker:social media kind of page in 2012 and ever since then I guess I was
Speaker:just self educating.
Speaker:Self learning, understanding,
Speaker:spirituality, quantum physics, nature and all this stuff.
Speaker:And then over the course of those years, I attracted the attention
Speaker:of different retreats, like there's a retreat here in Costa
Speaker:Rica that emailed me.
Speaker:They liked what I did and they
Speaker:invited me to do ayawaska.
Speaker:And ever since then it's been a
Speaker:series of invitations, you know, from the universe.
Speaker:I haven't really seeked it out at any point.
Speaker:You know, it's always been seeking me and I guess when I first did
Speaker:some research on ayahuasca and I.
Speaker:Made the journey to Costa Rica to
Speaker:work with plant medicine and I was really coming in like a baby, like
Speaker:a child.
Speaker:Like I had no idea what I was
Speaker:getting into. I just knew that there was a
Speaker:calling. I felt it in my heart.
Speaker:I was listening to people like Alan Watts and Terence McKenna.
Speaker:I used to watch the Joe Rogan pass quite often, the podcast very
Speaker:often, and I would see people talking about DMT and mushrooms
Speaker:and ayahuasca. And so I was very interested by
Speaker:all this spirituality and other realms.
Speaker:But I really nothing could have prepared me for what?
Speaker:Is to come and I'm think anyone that does any plant medicine for
Speaker:the first time says the same.
Speaker:But now that I have this hindsight
Speaker:and I often meet people that are at the beginning of their path and
Speaker:I guess they're, there's some tips I would give them.
Speaker:You know, and.
Speaker:One of the biggest ones for me is
Speaker:the words trust and the words surrender and also the word
Speaker:breathe. And quite often when we were in
Speaker:these altered states or were working with spiritual plant
Speaker:medicines and plant spirits, or we can go into our nervous system,
Speaker:can go into shock, or we can often resist whatever's coming up.
Speaker:And it's in this resistance where there's deep, uncomfortable
Speaker:witness and it can often cause a lot of pain, a lot of discomfort.
Speaker:So to limit that, for me it's a case of.
Speaker:The more we can trust, the more we accept, the more we surrender and
Speaker:also the more we use our breath as a tool just to find stability and
Speaker:harmony. This is going to give us the
Speaker:permission, if you like, to navigate this way that these
Speaker:realms in a in a kind of graceful way, if you like.
Speaker:And so I guess, like just trusting, accepting, surrendering,
Speaker:paying attention to the signs as well, like if you're feeling cold
Speaker:to this path.
Speaker:There's a deep reason for that.
Speaker:There's not many people, I think, on the planet.
Speaker:That are equipped to deal with a deep spiritual path.
Speaker:I feel like for some people, they might do plant medicine once and
Speaker:never again, you know, or people might do it very occasionally,
Speaker:like once every few years.
Speaker:And for other people, once they do
Speaker:this, it's like a deep calling.
Speaker:And they feel the need to really
Speaker:embark on this path and dive deep and for those people.
Speaker:And there's a long road ahead, you know, and it's just a case of
Speaker:trusting, of surrendering.
Speaker:And there's a lot of shedding the
Speaker:skin that goes on.
Speaker:A lot of people have this idea
Speaker:that ayahuasca or magic mushrooms is going to heal you and fix you.
Speaker:And I would say that that's a myth.
Speaker:That's a complete mess.
Speaker:You know, when you go to these
Speaker:plant spirits and what it's doing is allowing you to see yourself
Speaker:more clearly, giving you more awareness.
Speaker:And this can often be very unpleasant.
Speaker:Often you may have heard the words the dark night of the soul, you
Speaker:know, and I've been doing plant medicine for 3 and a half years
Speaker:and, i would say the first two years were extremely difficult.
Speaker:You know, lots of shedding of this.
Speaker:Then lots of obstacles to overcome, lots of challenges, lots
Speaker:of difficulties.
Speaker:And it's as if the plant spirits
Speaker:are testing you to make sure that you really have the tools and the
Speaker:determination to stay on this path.
Speaker:Because this is a path of being in service to others you know of, not
Speaker:the service itself.
Speaker:It's a service to others.
Speaker:And to do this, you really need to be willing to look at yourself, to
Speaker:look at your own shadows, to release all this stuff that hasn't
Speaker:been serving you your entire life.
Speaker:And this involves a lot of
Speaker:deconditioning and a lot of unlearning and from the minute.
Speaker:They're born, we are conditioned and we're given a name.
Speaker:Most of us are given a religion, most of us are told how to eat,
Speaker:how to live.
Speaker:And we just accept this as truth
Speaker:because our parents or teachers or our society tells us this.
Speaker:And it's often in the teenage years where you'll find the call
Speaker:of the rebellious teenage phase because a lot of teenagers
Speaker:recognise something doesn't feel right with society, something
Speaker:doesn't feel right with what they're being taught.
Speaker:So they rebel.
Speaker:But what happens is we get drummed
Speaker:in so deeply by society, by marketing by culture, by branding,
Speaker:by social media, that most people end up conforming to society.
Speaker:We have to get jobs, we have to pay, we have to live, we have to
Speaker:survive, you know? But some of us keep listening to
Speaker:this little voice and we follow this path.
Speaker:And I guess it's just about reconnecting to your inner child
Speaker:in a way, and remembering that magic is real, that there are
Speaker:spirits out there.
Speaker:And just trusting that process for
Speaker:me is a big one, just having deep trust, you know?
Speaker:So I don't know if that answers your question.
Speaker:Yeah, I mean, I think it's interesting because what you're
Speaker:saying around surrender, trust, breath, are all things that can be
Speaker:applied outside of ceremony.
Speaker:And in fact, I would recommend
Speaker:that people start applying them outside of ceremony if they're
Speaker:feeling called to ceremony like, because it's nice to have
Speaker:something to like.
Speaker:The first time I was with
Speaker:Ayahuasca and I feel like you might have a similar story.
Speaker:Like I was not prepared.
Speaker:I had no context for like i mean.
Speaker:It's experimented a little bit with psychedelics as a youth, just
Speaker:for fun like many years before.
Speaker:But my first, I mean I went like I
Speaker:just had no breath, no, I couldn't even surrender.
Speaker:There was nothing to surrender.
Speaker:There was no me left like it was
Speaker:just, it was brutal and but in a good way.
Speaker:Like, I mean, I'm still here and i'm grateful for the journey, but
Speaker:I definitely think that it can be that practicing, now like gentle
Speaker:breath work or surrender.
Speaker:A trust practices gratitude,
Speaker:etcetera can help someone to kind of prepare for it, even though
Speaker:there's no way to fully prepare.
Speaker:Yeah, I agree.
Speaker:For me, it's like our nervous systems, you know, are not
Speaker:designed to cope with psychedelics because we're not accustomed to
Speaker:that those realms.
Speaker:And I guess the breath is a
Speaker:beautiful tool to balance your nervous system, you know, so you,
Speaker:like you say, if you can practice deep breathing connecting to
Speaker:nature, meditation is a great practice as well, just to calm
Speaker:your nerves. But when you do enter these
Speaker:realms, you're able to navigate them with more grace, with more
Speaker:awareness, to be more still, to be more present.
Speaker:I think presence is a big one for me.
Speaker:It's the one thing, I guess, that over the last three years has
Speaker:become more and more prevalent, and it's become more and more
Speaker:important to me to cultivate presence because I recognise how
Speaker:important that is for all of us just to exist as a beneficial
Speaker:presence on the planet.
Speaker:We need to manage our own
Speaker:emotions, to manage our own nervous system, to regain
Speaker:sovereignty over our mind, our body and our spirit.
Speaker:You know, and.
Speaker:It's not an easy task because it's
Speaker:for me it was like 36 or 37 years of unlearning I had to do to enter
Speaker:into this new world.
Speaker:And took a lot of deep work and
Speaker:deep releasing. Lots of purging, lots of crying,
Speaker:lots of vomiting over many years, over many ceremonies to get to the
Speaker:stage where I am now, where I feel I'm able to show up and these kind
Speaker:of places and not only show up for myself, but be able to hold space
Speaker:for others, you know? But that came about through, I
Speaker:guess just a willingness to show up as well, you know?
Speaker:Well, for me, I always encourage people that I speak to just to
Speaker:show up. If you can show up, if you can
Speaker:have the courage to turn up at these ceremonies or if you're
Speaker:looking for some kind of personal growth or spiritual growth to get
Speaker:that coach to do that breathwork session, to go to that yoga class,
Speaker:to book that iowaska retreat, whatever it is, if you can just do
Speaker:that work to show up and then all you have to do after that is
Speaker:really just surrender.
Speaker:That's the hard part, is just
Speaker:getting there. Once you're there, you just need
Speaker:to get out of your own way, you know, and let the spirits do their
Speaker:work. So I guess it's just that.
Speaker:And those words showing up, I use them every week in my main circle
Speaker:that I run as i just honour the brothers for showing up.
Speaker:I say thank you for showing up because the fact that you're here
Speaker:now, all you have to do is lie back and relax and enjoy the enjoy
Speaker:the evening and enjoy the ceremony and surrender, you know, and
Speaker:connect. And yes, we're showing up some big
Speaker:one for me as well.
Speaker:So I wanted to check in around
Speaker:this sacred men's circle.
Speaker:It's something I'm just very
Speaker:interested in. So could you share a little more
Speaker:about what men's work means for you and what it means for you to
Speaker:be a men's work? Facilitator, sure. So, around a
Speaker:little over a year ago and, you know, doing lots of iowaska
Speaker:ceremony, he's working in service and I saw a deep lack of
Speaker:integration, you know, and people that were going to ceremonies and
Speaker:travelling from all over the world, coming to Costa Rica and
Speaker:then going back home again and entering back into the rat race.
Speaker:And I felt like for me personally, just creating a space where
Speaker:brothers could come together to share and to integrate the plant
Speaker:medicine journeys would be a beautiful.
Speaker:Active service.
Speaker:It's almost like a spiritual
Speaker:payment and it was also a form of discipline for me to give myself a
Speaker:spiritual practice every week where I create this space.
Speaker:And it's a allowing me to show up for myself and to connect to
Speaker:spirit, to do breath work, to connect to brothers.
Speaker:And even on some weeks there would be very few weeks when nobody
Speaker:would turn up and I would be there myself, but I would use the
Speaker:opportunity to sit with myself, to work with plant spirits and just
Speaker:to connect. And I made I made a firm
Speaker:commitment. 2 Spirit to myself.
Speaker:I'm going to do this every week and by doing so every week, by
Speaker:employing that level of self-discipline And for me
Speaker:self-discipline is another word for self love.
Speaker:So by loving myself so much, by doing this circle for myself every
Speaker:week, i recognised I was becoming my own conscious leader.
Speaker:And then as more brothers showed up every week and connected every
Speaker:week, they were becoming their own conscious leaders as well.
Speaker:And so we called the circle with conscious leader of Sacred Men
Speaker:circle because it's all about men stepping into their power,
Speaker:becoming their own conscious leaders.
Speaker:An elevating one another and standing, standing together, but
Speaker:as individuals, you know, and it was a lot about for me initially
Speaker:it started off as just sharing just a talking circle.
Speaker:So we'd be in a circle, we'd lower the lights like some files, fires,
Speaker:honour the spirits, and then we just start talking.
Speaker:We would have a talking stick.
Speaker:And then over the months it
Speaker:started to evolve.
Speaker:As my spiritual practice, improved
Speaker:i started to serve a sacred tobacco, happy or rapid they call
Speaker:it. I started to serve this and I
Speaker:started to serve cacao.
Speaker:And then I also became a
Speaker:breathwork facilitator as well.
Speaker:So we came up, we started
Speaker:employing these healing modalities, and spirits started to
Speaker:come and visit us in these sacred circles.
Speaker:And we would connect to our ancestors, would connect to
Speaker:spirits, we'd have deep wisdom, wisdom channelled music channel
Speaker:sharing. There would be tears, there be
Speaker:joy, they'd be connection physical touch, just like brothers hugging
Speaker:one another, feeling supported by each other, deep releasing deep
Speaker:connection. And we realise that, wow, we're
Speaker:really on to something here, you know, and it's just been
Speaker:beautiful. To be part of a circle where we
Speaker:can feel supported as part of a conscious community, you know,
Speaker:because I feel for hundreds of thousands of years, if not
Speaker:millions of years, humans existed in small tribes, in small
Speaker:communities. And this is how we functioned.
Speaker:You know, This is why addictions or prostitution maybe weren't such
Speaker:a thing when we had tribes, because we'd all support one
Speaker:another. You know, if people in the tribe
Speaker:were lacking or if there was a single woman with children, they'd
Speaker:always be support and care and love, or if somebody was disabled.
Speaker:Less evil.
Speaker:They always be people around to
Speaker:support and it feels like, and in alignment with the industrial
Speaker:revolution, as capitalism and corporatism takes over the
Speaker:planets, this community feeling has kind of diminished.
Speaker:You know, you can have a, you can have like 5 million people living
Speaker:in a city and it can be the loneliest place in the world, you
Speaker:know. So I feel like this is these
Speaker:circles were just a way to remember who we were, to honour
Speaker:our ancestors and remember how they for thousands and thousands
Speaker:of years and sat around fires and told stories.
Speaker:Shared and played music, and much in the same way that we were doing
Speaker:so it's just about remembering who we are, remembering our past and
Speaker:honouring our ancestors as well.
Speaker:Because when I think about my
Speaker:mother and what she sacrificed for me to be alive, she's going
Speaker:through the pregnancy, raising me as a child.
Speaker:And then I think about her mother that did the same for her.
Speaker:And then I realised that there was a long chain of women that might
Speaker:extend back thousands of generations of survivors that had
Speaker:to survive so mean you can be here to thrive.
Speaker:To live and to enjoy.
Speaker:And this circle is a real
Speaker:opportunity for us just to give thanks and to pay respect to those
Speaker:who came before us.
Speaker:And then to also turn our life of
Speaker:an act of service as a way of giving back, as a way of
Speaker:respecting nature. Because not only our mothers, not
Speaker:only the fathers that came before us, but also nature that's held
Speaker:all of us in the past.
Speaker:The trees that provide oxygen, the
Speaker:water that sustains us, the sun, the earth, all the elements, all
Speaker:this is a is a gift, you know, from God, if you want to call it.
Speaker:Our source.
Speaker:And we often forget this, you
Speaker:know, one of the titles, and his name is Title Gabriel I work with
Speaker:from Colombia. He's a shaman.
Speaker:And he often says, like, imagine if somebody gave you the greatest
Speaker:gift, like a bag of ten million dollars Yeah.
Speaker:He says, imagine how grateful you would feel for receiving this
Speaker:gift, you know, or someone buys you a private jet.
Speaker:He goes, think how grateful you would be.
Speaker:You'd be brought to tears with gratitude, he goes, well, imagine
Speaker:you didn't have trees to breathe.
Speaker:You would not be able to receive
Speaker:that gift. So why are you not equally
Speaker:grateful for the trees? Why are you not equally grateful
Speaker:for your breasts? Why are you not equally grateful
Speaker:for life? Because without life you could not
Speaker:receive this gift.
Speaker:You know, when we play with our
Speaker:children or Make Love to our wives or whatever, and we're so happy
Speaker:and so blissful, but we forget that we could not receive this if
Speaker:we did, not if we did not have life.
Speaker:So it's like the sacred art of living is to remember, is to live
Speaker:from a frequency of gratitude we are always receiving.
Speaker:Even since the beginning of this podcast, we've been receiving
Speaker:abundance, you know, and we're having breath.
Speaker:I'm sipping on tea.
Speaker:Palo Santo I have sage.
Speaker:We have access to this magical one that we call a mobile phone that
Speaker:gives us ability to communicate across countries, you know, and
Speaker:really connect. There's abundance all around us.
Speaker:We're receiving.
Speaker:I can hear the birds in the
Speaker:background, I can see the sun shining.
Speaker:Everything is giving and it's just about remembering that we're
Speaker:always receiving. But humans have a funny way of
Speaker:blocking ourselves from receiving.
Speaker:We forget that we're receiving all
Speaker:the time, and we enter into this mindset of lack, which is a lot to
Speaker:do with conditioning of society, that we're not enough.
Speaker:We're looking at social media.
Speaker:We're seeing people that have more
Speaker:cars, more money, and we're thinking are we don't have enough.
Speaker:We're looking at celebrities and we're idolising them and we're for
Speaker:getting that, hang on a second, that you are the centre of your
Speaker:own universe and your what happens in your life really matters.
Speaker:And your interactions with people really matter and how you go about
Speaker:your day and the small things that you do really matter and spirits
Speaker:as much with you as you as with anyone on the planet, you know,
Speaker:and we're all connected and it's just about connecting to our
Speaker:intuition, connecting to our inner verse, you know?
Speaker:And, understanding that everything that we need is here within us
Speaker:right now, and we don't need to seek validation or acceptance
Speaker:externally. We only need to look inside and
Speaker:remember that we already have everything that we need.
Speaker:So this means circle.
Speaker:To come back to your question is a
Speaker:way for me of deep remembering, and that's really put it in a very
Speaker:simple way.
Speaker:It's just a way to remember.
Speaker:Just a lot of beauty right there, brother.
Speaker:I'm just taking a moment.
Speaker:Take your time.
Speaker:Yeah, it's interesting how there's this remembrance that you're it,
Speaker:that I'm it.
Speaker:And that remembrance happens in
Speaker:connection with other so there's this beautiful interplay between
Speaker:realising I'm it and I realise I'm it when I'm realise that with
Speaker:others. I mean, isn't that a beautiful,
Speaker:poetic setup? Yeah beautiful.
Speaker:Can I share something with? You please.
Speaker:So i follow, I don't know if you've heard of.
Speaker:And the law of 1 and the book of RA.
Speaker:But there's an ancient Egyptian God that's often worshipped.
Speaker:And in the Egyptian times they say that they were higher beings that
Speaker:came to Earth and lived among us and then for whatever reason, they
Speaker:left. But there are still connected to
Speaker:us. And there's a body of work where
Speaker:this God came back and he channelled wisdom through these
Speaker:people that were channelling channellers or deep in meditation.
Speaker:And this spirit came to them and three people wrote.
Speaker:This book, but anyway, the point I'm saying is he talks about human
Speaker:connection and how God created the universe to know himself, you know
Speaker:to he created creation so that he can know himself, which we spoke
Speaker:about the flower of life, you know, so the flower of life
Speaker:originally there was nothing and then there was an we say nothing,
Speaker:but we also can say Infinity at the same time nothing and
Speaker:everything is the same, you know.
Speaker:And it was like a point of
Speaker:consciousness. It was created and the most
Speaker:optimal way of knowing yourself is to.
Speaker:Create a sphere around you, which is why all the planets are
Speaker:circular spheres, because this is the most optimal shape.
Speaker:And then this circle all of a sudden split into two.
Speaker:And this created, you know, the risk of Pisces.
Speaker:And then this kept going on and on until the seed of life, the fruit
Speaker:of life, the flower of life.
Speaker:And then from here, creation
Speaker:started, you know, and the point I'm trying to make is, and we all
Speaker:have a little bit of God within us.
Speaker:So, for example, if you have a wife and you love your wife deeply
Speaker:and you're in the in the throes of making love.
Speaker:And you're an ecstasy.
Speaker:And in these moments, this is,
Speaker:this is a heightened state of consciousness where it's like God
Speaker:is seeing God.
Speaker:You can feel nothing else but love
Speaker:and gratitude and that moment, and it's like the highest expression
Speaker:of God. Equally, when I look at my son's
Speaker:eyes, when I when I when I sit with you right now, I recognise
Speaker:that on a deeper level, this is God speaking to God.
Speaker:So when I can really connect to you and when I can have nothing
Speaker:but love and compassion for you, and you could have the same for
Speaker:me. And there's no judgement there.
Speaker:And then I see.
Speaker:I see almost myself reflected back
Speaker:at me in your eyes.
Speaker:So there's a famous poet called
Speaker:Rumi and there's a beautiful poem that he says is there was a man, a
Speaker:farmer, who was given a beautiful life.
Speaker:He was had abundance his whole life.
Speaker:He had family his whole life, animals his whole life.
Speaker:All the children got married, he had grandchildren and he had a
Speaker:great life. And he died peacefully in his
Speaker:sleep. And he died and he went to God.
Speaker:And he said to God, like I don't understand, like you giving me a
Speaker:beautiful life. I had an amazing wife.
Speaker:I had a beautiful children.
Speaker:I had abundance.
Speaker:My life.
Speaker:And now I'm going to die.
Speaker:And now I'm dead and I'm in heaven.
Speaker:And now I'm going to have eternity in heaven.
Speaker:Like, what's the catch? And God said to him that when i
Speaker:created you out of mud.
Speaker:And now I look at you and you're
Speaker:back at me and I look at you and I see my own reflection in you
Speaker:because that's how pure you are.
Speaker:And that's the greatest gift you
Speaker:can give God.
Speaker:Because God is everything.
Speaker:So there's nothing else we can give God other than allowing him
Speaker:to see himself in us.
Speaker:So This is why the beauty, this is
Speaker:the beauty of connection.
Speaker:So when people connect in a deep
Speaker:level. What we do in the main circles,
Speaker:like we do in ceremonies, like we do with one to one work and
Speaker:intimacy work and Tantra and all this stuff we are actually seeing,
Speaker:we're elevating one another.
Speaker:So I'm seeing you and you're
Speaker:elevating me and you're seeing me and I'm elevating you.
Speaker:And this is like a deep moment of awareness, of like, oh, we're
Speaker:just, we're all one.
Speaker:We said earlier around you the
Speaker:feeling of being alone.
Speaker:I look at the word alone and
Speaker:there's an etymology to this word.
Speaker:If you separate all and one, it's
Speaker:all one. You know, there's no such thing as
Speaker:alone. It's actually a myth where number
Speaker:alone we always have our spirit guides when you're thinking you're
Speaker:thought comes from somewhere.
Speaker:So where does that thought come
Speaker:from? You're never really alone, you
Speaker:know. And yeah, i guess it's just
Speaker:understanding that when we look at people.
Speaker:As our ability to see God in everybody and everything, even
Speaker:people that we say evil exists yeah but in my understanding,
Speaker:working in plant medicine, there is no such thing as evil.
Speaker:There's only a spectrum of light, and there's darkness and light,
Speaker:but it's all a spectrum of light at the end of the day.
Speaker:And if we weren't able to observe the entire spectrum, we wouldn't
Speaker:understand it. If we don't understand the
Speaker:darkness, we don't understand the light.
Speaker:There can be no light without darkness.
Speaker:So it's just acceptance, like we mentioned earlier.
Speaker:Acceptance, having compassion, having love, being able to forgive
Speaker:all those that came before us, being able to have compassion for
Speaker:even those that continue to harm us or having compassion for even
Speaker:those that are not.
Speaker:You know, we feel they're not
Speaker:serving the planet, but who are we to say they're not serving the
Speaker:planet? Some of our greatest teachers are
Speaker:the people that cause the most pain in our life because they're
Speaker:our biggest teachers.
Speaker:And who's to say they're not
Speaker:higher beings from the sixth dimension that are sent here to
Speaker:teachers? So i choose to honour everyone and
Speaker:everything and every experience I have in my life.
Speaker:I ask myself.
Speaker:One question, and what it's the
Speaker:question, is what do I learn from this?
Speaker:And if we can apply that question to everything in our life, then I
Speaker:feel this is a very powerful tool to transmute any energy and to
Speaker:reclaim our power.
Speaker:What do I learn from this?
Speaker:You know, someone harms me.
Speaker:If someone loves me, if someone
Speaker:neglects me, if someone ignores me, if someone does anything, what
Speaker:do I learn from this? And by me doing this, I'm stepping
Speaker:into my power and I'm and I'm not allowing anyone to deplete me.
Speaker:I'm learning always, and this is earth for me is a school that we
Speaker:chose to come to.
Speaker:And we're learning.
Speaker:And the more we learn, the more we're stepping into our power.
Speaker:And I feel like at some point through evolution, we'll graduate
Speaker:until we can enter into our light bodies and just exist in the
Speaker:spiritual realms. But I do believe that we come back
Speaker:many times and to undo Karma and that from passalis from this life,
Speaker:and it's up to us to end the karma.
Speaker:And we do this by releasing all that stuff that no longer serves
Speaker:us and just being present and accepting and having compassion
Speaker:and then once we can reach.
Speaker:The state of mind.
Speaker:What I find is I'm able to balance my emotions so much better than I
Speaker:ever used to.
Speaker:Things fall down around me.
Speaker:I come back to my breath.
Speaker:I use my spiritual tools, I
Speaker:connect to my spirit guides, I connect to my ancestors, and i ask
Speaker:for guidance.
Speaker:I asked to remember my strength.
Speaker:I don't pray for strength.
Speaker:I pray to remember how strong I am
Speaker:because there's a difference.
Speaker:If I pray for something, it means
Speaker:I lack it.
Speaker:So those prayers aren't really
Speaker:heard. But if I pray to remember my own
Speaker:strength. And then.
Speaker:Take action on that prayer, then, the guides and spirit support says
Speaker:when we support ourselves.
Speaker:I feel like I'm going off on a
Speaker:tangent, but yeah, I also want to show something to you as well.
Speaker:This is my bottle right in front of Maine.
Speaker:So as we were speaking and I had the flower of life staring at me,
Speaker:I just noticed yeah.
Speaker:The flower of life is definitely
Speaker:present in this conversation.
Speaker:That's beautiful.
Speaker:Yeah, man.
Speaker:Well, she's I was a fantastic
Speaker:tangent. I really, I deeply resonate with
Speaker:everything that you're sharing.
Speaker:And it, you know, there's an
Speaker:interesting one around the transformational journey, which
Speaker:I've been thinking about a lot recently and I'd be curious to
Speaker:hear your thoughts, but.
Speaker:You know, we often talk about the
Speaker:state. I like you saying, if we keep
Speaker:practicing and cleanse our karma, like however many generations,
Speaker:however long it takes, will eventually be spiritual beings.
Speaker:And the interesting thing I find is that because we are, as you
Speaker:said, like nothing is everything Infinity.
Speaker:So we are in an infinite universe, which is impossible, and yet it is
Speaker:what it is which is beautiful.
Speaker:Like the paradox of existence is
Speaker:that it's impossible, but it's here and.
Speaker:I guess my I'll use a story because it's easier for me to tell
Speaker:that way, but basically the story of the Caterpillar and the
Speaker:butterfly and anyone who's been listening to the podcast for a few
Speaker:episodes will have heard this one before because it's.
Speaker:I just thought of it recently as one of my favourite like new ways
Speaker:of thinking about things because I realised and the cover of this
Speaker:podcast is a butterfly like this.
Speaker:So it's definitely I connect to
Speaker:that beautiful image and that representation and what I realised
Speaker:was that every butterfly.
Speaker:Lays eggs and then dies at some
Speaker:point, and then those eggs become caterpillars.
Speaker:And those caterpillars event, they eat a lot, they actually devour,
Speaker:they destroy a lot in their growth as they feed themselves whatever
Speaker:they need to grow, and then they make their cocoon and then they
Speaker:have to dissolve completely.
Speaker:They have their own dark night of
Speaker:the soul where they dissolve into Caterpillar mush before again
Speaker:there's a there's a butterfly.
Speaker:But I guess the story for me is
Speaker:interesting in that every stage of that is necessary and is as valid
Speaker:as every other stage.
Speaker:And is in fact infinite.
Speaker:It will continue.
Speaker:And so I'm just curious.
Speaker:I feel like it's a useful perspective to have in the
Speaker:spiritual world of like, where everyone's talking about ascending
Speaker:and enlightenment and all these things like, Oh well, you'll be
Speaker:enlightened for as long as you like, and then you'll lay an egg
Speaker:and then and then they'll be another Caterpillar.
Speaker:So what do you think about that? No, I love that.
Speaker:Yeah, like a i'm immediately receiving the download that there
Speaker:was a tighter who's now passed.
Speaker:But he was 108 years old and he'd
Speaker:been drinking his entire life, ayahuasca, you know.
Speaker:And after 100 people are like asking him the question, like why
Speaker:do you still drink medicine? You know, you must have done tens
Speaker:of thousands of ceremonies.
Speaker:And he said because the healing
Speaker:never stops. You know, there's always new stuff
Speaker:that we take on.
Speaker:Like there's always growth.
Speaker:There's always room for understanding, for awareness.
Speaker:There's a.
Speaker:It's like, a deep mystery.
Speaker:Life is a deep mystery.
Speaker:And there's no there's no like as
Speaker:humans. We often seek the answers from our
Speaker:mind, you know, like trying to understand everything so we can
Speaker:feel safe, but it's accepting that we, as a Wiseman once said
Speaker:nothing. I think that's a famous quote by
Speaker:somebody like Socrates, you know, it's like by just accepting that
Speaker:we know nothing, you know? And then from this space just
Speaker:being humble and recognising that the past never ends.
Speaker:You know, if anything, the more we are on this path, it's the more
Speaker:awareness we have.
Speaker:Then the more we can start to heal
Speaker:ancestral winds and generational trauma.
Speaker:We can connect to our cosmic ancestors.
Speaker:Number ending the growth is never ending.
Speaker:We're always shedding skin just when we think we've nailed it and
Speaker:we've healed and we've grown.
Speaker:And then all of a sudden, it's
Speaker:like the universe just confronts you again with another deep truth
Speaker:and more work to be done.
Speaker:And the work never really ends,
Speaker:you know? And that for me is what's really
Speaker:appealing about this path.
Speaker:For me, it's the ultimate
Speaker:adventure. It's the ultimate path of knowing
Speaker:that there is no path almost, you know, it's like just being deeply
Speaker:present and accepting.
Speaker:And I guess that's why meditation
Speaker:is such a powerful tool, because in.
Speaker:It was deep meditative practices the MTR mind.
Speaker:We empty our thoughts and we just connect to spirit, we connect to
Speaker:oneness, we connect to the universe and it's in there that we
Speaker:just melt into this nothingness and we become everything and
Speaker:nothing at the same time.
Speaker:And it's like, this is just going
Speaker:to continue forever, you know? We're infinite beings and we're on
Speaker:this cycle and it's just going to keep creating, keep reproducing,
Speaker:never ending even the universe.
Speaker:It's the start of my understanding
Speaker:goes it just keeps growing and then eventually it will implode on
Speaker:itself and then it will grow again and maybe we've had this
Speaker:conversation infinite. Times already like who knows you
Speaker:know. So just accepting this and being
Speaker:humble in this that there's somethings we don't know.
Speaker:There's somethings we're not meant to know.
Speaker:But what we can do is just have a deep presence and a deep
Speaker:acceptance and deep faith if you wanna call it that, you know.
Speaker:And faith is a deep powerful work for me.
Speaker:It's accepting everything.
Speaker:Like you said, the dark, I said
Speaker:earlier, the darkness and the light, you know it's ohh one.
Speaker:So we can't be ascended masters and the light if we don't accept
Speaker:the darkness and be willing to look at the shadows and be able to
Speaker:navigate those shadows and those dark places, you know.
Speaker:Yeah, it's a it's always shedding their skin.
Speaker:You know, every ceremony that we do, we're coming in a different
Speaker:person because each time we're changing.
Speaker:So every ceremony is a new version of us.
Speaker:Everyday is a new version of us, you know, even the version of you.
Speaker:In a year from now, we'll have different here.
Speaker:We'll have different skin.
Speaker:You know, your body will shift,
Speaker:your body will change.
Speaker:You're constantly changing,
Speaker:constantly shifting. What you mentioned the Caterpillar
Speaker:and butterfly humans aren't the same.
Speaker:Like, I don't look the same as I did five years ago.
Speaker:I don't look the same as it did a year ago.
Speaker:I'm changing all the time.
Speaker:My mannerisms are changing.
Speaker:The way I communicate is changing.
Speaker:Learning different things
Speaker:everyday. We're always changing, we're
Speaker:number the same.
Speaker:And I guess the nature is that as
Speaker:well. Nature is never stagnant.
Speaker:If something in nature becomes stagnant, it dies.
Speaker:You know, like if you look at water and it's stagnant, it
Speaker:becomes a form's disease.
Speaker:So rivers that flow, birds that
Speaker:fly, animals that eat one another and consume, and plants that grow.
Speaker:It's always moving, always changing, always dying, always
Speaker:being reborn. And this is what humans I guess
Speaker:need to face is that we are nature and we're going to die as well and
Speaker:it's that impermanent impermanence life i feel that makes life
Speaker:beautiful. Can you imagine if we thought we
Speaker:were never going to die? You know, like if we knew we were
Speaker:never going to die and living on Earth for eternity, like what kind
Speaker:of existence that would be? It's annoying that we're not going
Speaker:to be here.
Speaker:That makes us appreciate every
Speaker:moment. That allows us to cultivate
Speaker:presence, that encourages us to grow, to move forward.
Speaker:You know, you only have maybe 100 years yet best you know.
Speaker:So if we had 10000, thousand imagine how differently we would
Speaker:live, you know? So I guess it's just remembering
Speaker:the impermanence of life that we're and.
Speaker:Applying that to the that's the macro verse.
Speaker:But applying that to the micro verse like everyday is different
Speaker:every days. New challenges, every day's new
Speaker:healing, new opportunities.
Speaker:So yeah.
Speaker:Yeah, well, it's interesting because I feel like that relates
Speaker:to how our society is trying to play a finite game.
Speaker:It's trying to play its own infinite game, but not the way the
Speaker:game actually works.
Speaker:So what I mean by that is that we
Speaker:have corporations and identities and egos and structures that are
Speaker:society's trying to make infinite, but that's not how Infinity works.
Speaker:So it's like, well, if we just build this corporation big enough
Speaker:and if we eat enough, if we take enough and get enough power or
Speaker:attention or whatever the currency is that's being traded, then we'll
Speaker:be immortal.
Speaker:Then we can live forever.
Speaker:And it's such a it's it doesn't.
Speaker:That's not how the infinite game
Speaker:works. It just simply isn't so.
Speaker:And yet we see the results within our current societal consciousness
Speaker:that is now quite rapidly delaminating, for very good
Speaker:reasons. Yeah, resonate with all of that.
Speaker:You know for sure.
Speaker:And how? How do you?
Speaker:Because you're giving so much to.
Speaker:What you being the change you want
Speaker:to see, basically, which is such a simple and beautiful saying.
Speaker:And it's interesting because a lot of people think Gandhi said it,
Speaker:but actually it's not attributed to Gandhi, non?
Speaker:I haven't found a source for it, but it's a whoever.
Speaker:It's a truth.
Speaker:It's a thing.
Speaker:Be the change you want to see in the world.
Speaker:And yet one of the things I.
Speaker:Witness, I'm just thinking how to,
Speaker:what is it that I'm wanting to say here, but basically.
Speaker:I think you actually said it earlier.
Speaker:Now that I think of it, it's basically I focus on myself so
Speaker:that when I as I heal, I have more spaciousness to then serve others.
Speaker:And that's actually the cycle.
Speaker:It's not our focus on myself
Speaker:because I want to keep taking, which is what I've done at times
Speaker:and do at times because of feelings of lack.
Speaker:That's the actual disease, but it's not.
Speaker:I'm focusing on prioritising my inner work, my healing, my showing
Speaker:up, as you said, the showing up in the surrendering because through
Speaker:that. I am given what I need to show up
Speaker:more in the world.
Speaker:I have those calls then to be of
Speaker:service out in the world and that's the natural route it needs
Speaker:to take love myself so I can love my neighbour.
Speaker:Does that make? You know, completely true.
Speaker:I mean, it reminds me of, like, shamanism.
Speaker:Shamanism has been around, like long before religion, you know,
Speaker:it's how humans connected to spirit for all of known history,
Speaker:you know, and when I asked myself, what is a shaman?
Speaker:A shaman is not somebody that heals others.
Speaker:Chairman is merely somebody that's healed himself so much so where
Speaker:he's able to create spaces where others can do the same for
Speaker:themselves. So in a way we're all we're all
Speaker:our own shaman, some of us.
Speaker:It doesn't necessarily mean you
Speaker:have to serve ayawaska or serve mushrooms to people.
Speaker:Being a shaman can be anything.
Speaker:A mother can be a shaman.
Speaker:Entrepreneur can be a shaman, a musician can be a shaman.
Speaker:Ohh you are is your own healer.
Speaker:And I guess by becoming your own
Speaker:healer you're able to, like you would say, hold space for
Speaker:yourself. So when I can hold.
Speaker:Is for myself, for example.
Speaker:I have children, you know, so when
Speaker:they see me not being led by emotions, not losing my temper by
Speaker:being in harmony, when they see my energy and they see me overcoming
Speaker:obstacles with integrity, with grace, they feed off this energy.
Speaker:And this gives them their ability to hold space for themselves as
Speaker:well. And this is the greatest gift that
Speaker:we can give to people around us is by our ability to look after
Speaker:ourselves, you know, and nobody, we're on this planet alone.
Speaker:At the end of the day, we are in these bodies.
Speaker:We have to go through life and these.
Speaker:Released by ourselves and often we can forget and we can externalise
Speaker:the whole world and we need medication, we need doctors, we
Speaker:need teachers, we need gurus.
Speaker:And in the end like this is all
Speaker:just a distraction from the truth that everything you need is within
Speaker:you already and it's just about tapping into that and
Speaker:understanding that it's not selfish.
Speaker:Self love is not a selfish act, you know, it's people can get
Speaker:misconstrued because in the 3D World you know, like making money
Speaker:and doing things can be deemed the selfish act and to some extent
Speaker:that is. In the spiritual realms, when we
Speaker:are being selfish in terms of spiritual practice looking after
Speaker:ourselves, being mindful what we eat, taking our time, protecting
Speaker:our energy, being careful with who we share our energy with, being
Speaker:alone in nature, this is not selfish.
Speaker:This is self love, which is a big difference.
Speaker:You know, from this act of self love I'm able to live a life of
Speaker:being in service to others.
Speaker:So it's ultimate act of
Speaker:selflessness really is by loving yourself so much.
Speaker:So yeah, it really resonates yeah thank you for sharing that there's
Speaker:because one of the things I noticed right now that's an
Speaker:interesting it's almost like a sneaky weapon.
Speaker:I don't know if that's the right word.
Speaker:Sneaky distraction is that, like social media and the media in
Speaker:general, is constantly calling for me and for the individual to be
Speaker:enraged about something out there and to take act, to go out there
Speaker:and like shout at someone else who doesn't understand how important
Speaker:this thing is.
Speaker:And I could hash tag thousand
Speaker:hashtags, that you know, I don't think it's.
Speaker:Necessary to give examples, but like it's that sense of.
Speaker:Any of those people, any of us, me, when I feel that urge to go
Speaker:out there and change something out there, am I willing to sit with
Speaker:the discomfort of visiting that thing in myself and that's like an
Speaker:interesting shift and that's what I hear you saying it's beautiful,
Speaker:Yeah. I used to run a online business and I had millions of
Speaker:followers on Facebook.
Speaker:It was called educate, inspire,
Speaker:change. And the tagline was educate
Speaker:yourself, inspire others, change the world and them over the years
Speaker:this evolved from me sharing information about what's going
Speaker:wrong in the world, like exposing child poverty, exposing war
Speaker:crimes, exposing corrupt politicians and corrupt
Speaker:pharmaceutical businesses. And I would often it would.
Speaker:It would receive a lot of attention, but people would in the
Speaker:end feel helpless because what can they do?
Speaker:It's very hard to battle the systems in society like the prison
Speaker:system, the military system, the education system, and I recognise
Speaker:that what I was doing was almost feeding the fear.
Speaker:I was adding to the problem.
Speaker:Yes, I was.
Speaker:My intentions were good and I was raising awareness and I was
Speaker:educating, which is a very important part of life.
Speaker:But on a deeper level, almost what I was doing was I was feeding the
Speaker:fear. And I understood that the way we
Speaker:can transmit this energy is we can only control what happens within
Speaker:ourselves, you know, so we can control what we eat, how we what
Speaker:we consume, the media that we consume, the food that we consume,
Speaker:how we live our life.
Speaker:And so when we can reclaim
Speaker:sovereignty over our mind, our body and our spirit, and
Speaker:automatically our reality starts to shift.
Speaker:And we start to attract the right people, the good energies, the
Speaker:ceremonies, the conscious community.
Speaker:And if more people started to do this, started to look at inwards
Speaker:and look at themselves, then it's almost like we stopped paying
Speaker:attention to what's going wrong in the world, and we start to pay
Speaker:attention to the love within us.
Speaker:And by not paying attention, we
Speaker:start to it starts to lose its power.
Speaker:So if everybody started doing ceremonies and healing and
Speaker:personal development and spiritual growth tomorrow, all of a sudden
Speaker:all these institutions would collapse because you're not being
Speaker:given attention anymore.
Speaker:You know when?
Speaker:And think about taxpayers in the country and it's like 99 9 % of
Speaker:the population are paying tax and 1 % of the population are
Speaker:billionaires that are not paying tax.
Speaker:You know, and I think about if those 99 9 % just decided to stop.
Speaker:Everything's everything falls apart, you know, and we become
Speaker:decentralised and we become sovereign again.
Speaker:But it's just people don't have that awareness.
Speaker:So I guess it's just having that awareness of how powerful we are,
Speaker:reclaiming our power and reclaiming our sovereignty that's
Speaker:going to be the key to solving the world's problems.
Speaker:So before we before we part ways, there's just a few more things I'd
Speaker:like to ask.
Speaker:And this podcast is obviously
Speaker:called we are already free.
Speaker:And for context, that came from a
Speaker:poem I wrote called we are already free, which was just.
Speaker:When I when this whole thing started unfolding a few years ago
Speaker:around pandemic and what to do, and everyone has to take the
Speaker:medicine, otherwise you're a bad person and all the stories that
Speaker:were unfolding and I honour everyone for whatever their
Speaker:position is within it.
Speaker:I tried to express that for me.
Speaker:I think that bodily sovereignty is still critical and that no one
Speaker:that we can't take that away from people no matter what our opinion
Speaker:is about it.
Speaker:And when I was first sharing about
Speaker:it was just creating more and more polarity polarization and so I
Speaker:stopped, but it kept this desire to speak my truth kept rising.
Speaker:And so eventually I started writing these long form poems.
Speaker:I've been a songwriter and a musician for many years, but this
Speaker:was my first time really stepping into spoken word poetry.
Speaker:And that poem is one of them that came out.
Speaker:We are already free.
Speaker:And so that term, that sentence
Speaker:has really stayed with people and with me as a kind of a mantra of a
Speaker:reminder of like you've been talking about this reminder, these
Speaker:reminders. That are valuable for us to return
Speaker:to our natural state that we are already free.
Speaker:And so I just love to hear any thoughts you have or anything that
Speaker:comes through for you when you think of or when you say that term
Speaker:we are already free.
Speaker:I mean, it's a very beautiful
Speaker:statement, you know? I think it comes back to me around
Speaker:just remembering.
Speaker:So when you say we're already
Speaker:free. Just that frequency for me, like
Speaker:the highest form of thought is like love, gratitude.
Speaker:And in that space, that's where the magic is.
Speaker:And so when you say we are already free, it's accepting that
Speaker:everything we have is already within us.
Speaker:And when we can remember this, we are our own shamans, that we are
Speaker:our own healers, that we are infinite beings of light.
Speaker:Then there is a very freeing feeling that comes from this deep
Speaker:knowing. It's not something you can
Speaker:understand with the mind it's only something that you can feel with
Speaker:the heart. True freedom is felt in the heart.
Speaker:It's not something that we can logically think about.
Speaker:You know, like some people say, money buys you freedom.
Speaker:But I know many people that are very wealthy and they are not
Speaker:free. They're almost trapped in their
Speaker:own prisons, you know.
Speaker:So the concept of being free for
Speaker:me is about the journey that we take from our head to our heart.
Speaker:When we can start to live from the heart, we start to become free.
Speaker:We start to be one with nature.
Speaker:We start to recognise the
Speaker:abundances all around us.
Speaker:We start to recognise that we are
Speaker:never alone. You start to recognise that we do
Speaker:not exist from a place of fear.
Speaker:We exist only from love.
Speaker:We are grateful for every experience we learn from
Speaker:everything we grow from everything.
Speaker:And in this there is a deep freedom, you know?
Speaker:So like whatever life throws at me, i no longer choose to be the
Speaker:victim. Therefore I am free.
Speaker:Because I'm learning from everything.
Speaker:I'm grateful for everything.
Speaker:And this there's a freedom.
Speaker:And you could take away my house, you could take away my family, you
Speaker:could take away everything but you cannot take away my connection to
Speaker:spirit so. I feel like even like I have a
Speaker:choked children, you know, and people who love their children
Speaker:deeply, but there's even a feeling in me i do feel like I'm in
Speaker:service to others.
Speaker:And that makes me a better father.
Speaker:O I'm not a father first, I'm in service 1st, and as a result of
Speaker:doing this, I'm free to be the best version of myself.
Speaker:I can show up as a father, as a conscious entrepreneur, as a
Speaker:sacred circle leader, as a as a space holder, because I'm
Speaker:accessing this freedom, you know that you talk about because I'm
Speaker:remembering. So for me, living from the heart
Speaker:is the definition of being free.
Speaker:Thank you so much.
Speaker:What a beautiful sharing and I just really honor.
Speaker:Having just met you in this conversation, thank you for
Speaker:trusting to step into the space with me and thank you for doing,
Speaker:for showing up for yourself, for doing that beautiful work, of
Speaker:becoming you fully you.
Speaker:I love being me with you and so
Speaker:thank you. It's an honour and just one final
Speaker:thing, which is if the beautiful listener right now the listeners
Speaker:are wanting to explore you further and connect with you further, how
Speaker:can they best do that? Sure and I have a few social media
Speaker:accounts. My personal Instagram is conscious
Speaker:cash with a key ksh and I also have a platform that we mentioned
Speaker:earlier called educate.
Speaker:Inspire change.
Speaker:We used to have 3 and a half million facebook followers, but
Speaker:this is another story.
Speaker:That page was taken down, but I
Speaker:still have an Instagram channel called educate Inspire change.
Speaker:There's also a podcast called Educate Inspire Change, but
Speaker:although I haven't used it for a while, but people can connect with
Speaker:me there.
Speaker:There's a website,
Speaker:educateinspirechange.org that people can access and I'm
Speaker:freely available. You can go on YouTube.
Speaker:I've been a part of some different ayahuasca documentaries.
Speaker:You can just type in educate, inspire, change, or conscious cash
Speaker:or cash can on YouTube and you'll find me everywhere.
Speaker:Well, thank you.
Speaker:I actually heard about that story
Speaker:of your Facebook page and I was gonna ask you about it, but it
Speaker:just kind of like the conversation just went in a different direction
Speaker:and which is it wasn't about what was, it's about what is, which I
Speaker:think was an interesting that that's what's coming through right
Speaker:now. So beautiful yeah but i feel like
Speaker:i look forward and hope that we get to have many more
Speaker:conversations along the path to, as you say, in service to that was
Speaker:my prayer at the beginning of this lighting.
Speaker:My sage was just like, please.
Speaker:Just like spirit, use me and use
Speaker:this conversation as a way to just support those who are out there on
Speaker:this path, who maybe are feeling alone or overwhelmed or looking
Speaker:for their own guidance or how do they, what do they turn to?
Speaker:And I feel like, if anything, hearing your words today has
Speaker:really been an invitation to turn inward.
Speaker:And so thank you again, brother.
Speaker:It's been an.
Speaker:Honour, thank you for creating this space and inviting me for
Speaker:seeing me the way you do.
Speaker:I see you too.
Speaker:Thank you, brother.
Speaker:Thank you again to the wonderful
Speaker:Kash Khan for his beautiful offering, his time, his presence,
Speaker:his medicine work.
Speaker:There's a beautiful saying I heard
Speaker:on Laura Dawn's podcasts, the Psychedelic Leadership Podcast,
Speaker:where she got some advice from her friend at one point when she was
Speaker:really struggling with something.
Speaker:And the friend said, you know,
Speaker:Laura Dawn, really the only thing any of us can do is to get right
Speaker:with ourselves. And that's become something of a
Speaker:mantra for me as I noticed more and more attention and intensity
Speaker:in the world, more and more people calling for external.
Speaker:We have to be upset about this, we have to focus on that, trying to
Speaker:point us in different directions, to be angry about different
Speaker:things. And I'm trying to find this
Speaker:compass within myself of what is the stuff to give my attention to.
Speaker:And I realised that it's so important that I get right with
Speaker:myself in the deepest of ways that I become my own medicine, my own
Speaker:healer. And that as my capacity for
Speaker:service expands, as my energy expands, my own ability to show up
Speaker:in the world expands.
Speaker:And so I then can take action on
Speaker:the things that I witness around me.
Speaker:Where can I be of service within my community, within my family,
Speaker:within the circles of those who I can directly impact and trust that
Speaker:if we all do that? The whole world changes overnight.
Speaker:It's as simple as that, and it ain't easy.
Speaker:So just know that I'm here with you on this journey.
Speaker:I'm delighted to be with you.
Speaker:I'm honoured that we can walk this
Speaker:path together.

Speaker:I've been talking a lot.
Speaker:It feels like there's a lot of old
Speaker:energy coming up in my life at the moment.
Speaker:And I'm just meeting it all with as much grace as I can.
Speaker:I suppose that's always the invitation is not what is
Speaker:happening externally, but how do I meet what is happening?
Speaker:How do I approach it? Am I taking it personally?
Speaker:Am I making assumptions? Am I being impeccable with my
Speaker:word? Am I doing my best?
Speaker:For anyone who hasn't read the four agreements, highly recommend

Speaker:A Wilding or a wildling is something that has escaped
Speaker:captivity and returned to the wild.
Speaker:So I think that those of us in this time who are choosing
Speaker:awakening, it no matter how uncomfortable that can become at
Speaker:times we are choosing to wake up and.
Speaker:Own our sovereignty and own the remembrance and the responsibility
Speaker:that we are already free.
Speaker:We are wildings.
Speaker:We are escaping captivity, returning to the wild, and growing
Speaker:into the fullness of ourselves as we were always meant to be.
Speaker:So beautiful.
Speaker:Wilding, thank you for listening.
Speaker:I'll see you next week.
